our first responder is something we strongly believe in
Why It Matters
Here at Mattox Dog Training Academy, the mental well-being of our first responders is something we strongly believe in. Too many times, when the conversation is had about post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mental health, and suicide, our first responders are forgotten. We appreciate all our first responders do in and around our community and realize the stress and pressure of being the first on scene day in and day out can be life-altering. That is why we strive to donate 2 to 3 Service Dogs or Facility Dogs to first responders or departments each year.
